The building has been carefully restored, keeping the original 1916 architectural details intact, while introducing modern luxury in this industrial space.  Steps from the Mississippi River, the Machine Shop event venue will be a central piece of the Minneapolis event scene, hosting a variety of events in its open, flexible space.  From cultural events open to the public, to lavish weddings, the Machine Shop is equipped for them all. With space for over 300 guests, combined with the innate character of the space and the lavish updates, clients and guests will experience grand events like never before in Minneapolis.

  • PAIKKAWebsite

    PAIKKA contains 2 beautiful spaces with an adjacent patio. The Gold and Pink Rooms are separated by 9' tall antique hanging doors embellished with a custom mural. 5,000 square feet of 1940's steel vaulted ceilings and original brick walls make up PAIKKA's structure.  The patio is adorned with strung café lights and clean, minimalistic landscaping. A staging kitchen is located in the Pink Room for use by your caterer. A lounge area also stands in the Pink Room outfitted with modern and vintage furniture. PAIKKA has a custom-built mobile bar on site and rolling vertical garden walls. There is abundant parking in a newly paved lot and handicap accessible male and female restrooms with multiple stalls.
